Hi! My name is Aspen and I am a wildlife guide at Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge, photographer, and canid coexistence worker. I grew up in North Carolina and went to Wake Forest University for biology, where I specifically studied wolves and coyotes. I worked heavily in Winston Salem on coyote-human interactions and coexistence. Additionally, I studied carnivore ecology and coexistence in Tanzania.

This year, I also worked for Wildlands Network on a red wolf project, where I monitored a trail camera project dedicated to studying the relationships of wolves and other species on the landscape. That gave me the opportunity to learn the refuge and individual wolves well. Iā€™m trained in wildlife tracking as well, which comes in handy on the refuge.

I offer some of my photography for purchase, available as prints, canvases, or metal prints. Thank you!
