Hi! My name is Aspen and I am a wildlife guide at Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge, photographer, and canid coexistence worker. I grew up in North Carolina and went to Wake Forest University for biology, where I specifically studied wolves and coyotes. I worked heavily in Winston Salem on coyote-human interactions and coexistence. Additionally, I studied carnivore ecology and coexistence in Tanzania.
This year, I also worked for Wildlands Network on a red wolf project, where I monitored a trail camera project dedicated to studying the relationships of wolves and other species on the landscape. That gave me the opportunity to learn the refuge and individual wolves well. Iām trained in wildlife tracking as well, which comes in handy on the refuge.
I offer some of my photography for purchase, available as prints, canvases, or metal prints. Thank you!
